Privacy Claim Control
AutismCertified handles information from families, business applicants, learners, donors, and partners. Privacy controls matter because public certification claims, directory listings, and family-facing visit details must come from reviewed records, not loose marketing data.
What we collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated while using the platform, and limited technical data needed to operate the site. The categories below describe the current launch-state posture.
Certification intake, selected tier, training progress, review state, badge eligibility, and dashboard activity.
Directory feedback, support requests, waitlist interest, accessibility messages, and contact details you choose to send.
Stripe handles payment details. AutismCertified stores only the operational records needed to reconcile checkout, donation, and certification status.
Limited analytics, logs, and error reports may be used to keep onboarding, training, checkout, and directory routes reliable.
Use and disclosure
AutismCertified uses information to run the platform, verify records, protect users, and keep public claims honest. Sensitive private intake is not a shortcut to public recognition.
Operate certification signup, dashboard, training, review, badge, and directory workflows.
Respond to business, family, press, donor, accessibility, and support inquiries.
Prevent fraud, debug product errors, protect accounts, and verify payment or donation outcomes.
Improve public pages, training handoffs, and family-facing directory information without publishing unreviewed business claims.
Sharing boundaries
AutismCertified does not sell personal information.
Service providers may process information for hosting, authentication, analytics, email, payment, database, and error-monitoring operations.
Business names, locations, badge tiers, and visit-planning details are not published in the directory until the business record, review state, badge state, and publication permission support it.
Information may be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or with your consent.
Request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal information.
Unsubscribe from non-essential marketing communications.
Ask how a business record, learner record, donor record, or family feedback item is being used.
Report a privacy, accessibility, or child-safety concern for expedited review.
Send privacy requests to privacy@autismcertified.org. Include the email address or business record involved so the team can locate the correct record.
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect accounts, training records, business records, and support communications. No internet system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
AutismCertified supports child-safe public spaces, but platform accounts, training, donation, and certification services are intended for adults and organizations, not children under 13.
Changes are posted on this page with a new update date. Material platform changes should keep privacy language aligned with the live product, not future claims.
